Sell House Fast UKHow to Sell Your House Fast in the UK |
| 15 December |
I have a major financial dilema. I own a condo in Michigan where the economy and the housing market has pretty much hit rock bottom. I moved out of the condo a year and a half ago because I lost my job and moved home to be closer to my new job. I had the condo on the market from July 2005 until August 2006 with no offers. I decided to rent the place out in August and had someone sign a one year lease. Now she is moving out because she bought a house and cutting out on the lease 6 months early. I wanted to put the condo on the market again now. But a realtor told me that I cannot sell it for more than $138,000 but I owe $152,000. So basicaly I won’t even break even and I have no money saved to pay the difference. I need to get rid of the condo but it is killing me financially. any ideas of what i can do? I need to sell because I won’t be able to buy a house with my boyfriend in the future if I still own the condo.

My mortgage broker has suggested using a HELOC on our existing home to pay the down payment on a new house.
We own our existing home assesed at 70k with a small 15k home renovation loan.
We are looking at houses costing around 125000 so we would need about 25000 down.
We are assuming we can sell our existing home for at least 55000k on a fast track if needed.
We have good incomes so the 2 payments would not be a major problem short term.
Any advice on this matter?
Any pro’s and cons to look out for?
Thank you in advance for your time.
OK? So which is it?
FRAUD?
Or people Do it all the time?
I do not understand. Why is spending the money on a car or vacation ok…but usuing it for something REAL is not?

We have a 3 bed, brick ranch with a 2 1/2 car garage, fenced yard and finished basement. We live in Michigan. We want to move to another state and need to sell our house asap to finance our move and have money to pay off some debt and as a down payment for another home in our chosen new state.
Since the house needs a new roof, carpet/hardwood floor refinish, new windows and to be repainted, we are willing to sell for much less than we paid when we bought it.
We paid 130,000.00 5 years ago, have it fully paid off and are willing to sell for about 80-90,000.00.
We have been thinking about selling it to a “flipper” or a person/company who buys homes, fixes them and rents them out. Has anyone done this or knows of a reputable company that does this? Anyone have any ideas on where I could advertise? We really would lke to avoid realtors and the fees because we are selling so low.

I put an offer on a REO condo
It was a full price offer, but they went with someone elses offer.
So…fast forward two months later, MLS says the home sold for 10k less than my offer was. I had money down, was preapproved, why would that happen???
There was no ’seller’ really, bank owned. The bank likely didnt even know about my offer.

Around the world massive amounts of properties have been built over the past 10 years some are finished and some are not. It seems like everyone wanted a piece of the real estate market. I’ve seen some news stories about developments in Southern Spain going unsold. The US and UK markets are lacking buyers. There are so many other places that are looking for buyers too. A lot of the property available was directed by foreign buyers. In the gulf area there are enormous developments looking for investors and buyers. I just can see how people are going to be able to invest in all these projects around the world with a ginat slowdown worldwide. I kind of think this is going to compound as things worsen. I guess I just think the money isn’t there in general. I mean are you planning to buy a condo in Dubai or South Africa? How about Spain or Portugal? Are the buyers really there for all these projects that are directed at foreign buyers.
What do you think of property markets that rely on foreign investors. Are the investors drying up? Will this add to the overall bankruptcy/Banking issues?

I am in the UK and i live on an estate, which I know is bad, but it’s all i can afford at the moment. I have one child called Sasha Marie, who’s two, and she has plenty of little friends over. But further down my estate there’s some real rough people, and they keep threatening me. They throw horrible, insulting things through the letterbox, calling me a prozzy because I have lots of relationships [i am NOT currently with Sasha Marie's father..]. These kids are only 12-13 but they are threatening arson and have already thrown 1 brick through my window . Please help if you can. I am really scared for my daughter’s safety
P.S i have called the police many a time but they don’t really take it seriously. i have also threatened to make an official complaint
I know the boys’ mother, and she keeps saying her sons wouldn’t do such a thing. I don’t believe they would, either, and when they threw the brick through the window, it was because I broke friends with their mother. I seriously don’t think they’d arson. I am doing my best for money but it’s really tight and I am doing my best to move out
