She really knows the area, especially the townhouse community in which we live, so we figure that it’s better to have a real estate agent who knows the market and can get our house sold fast rather than trying to find someone else who charges less commission.

So basicaly I won’t even break even and I have no money saved to pay the difference. I need to get rid of the condo but it is killing me financially. any ideas of what i can do? I need to sell because I won’t be able to buy a house with my boyfriend in the future if I still own the condo.

The units in our development are renting for what we pay a month for our mortgage. If we sell right now, we would maybe just get our money back on what we paid for it. There are beautiful detached homes for sale that we’re really interested in! We already have a close family friend itching to rent our place and would sign a lease for 2-3 years. Also had a realtor email listings of rentals and he said they go very fast and in fact they have a waiting list for people looking to move into the community! We own our existing home assesed at 70k with a small 15k home renovation loan.
We are looking at houses costing around 125000 so we would need about 25000 down.

We have good incomes so the 2 payments would not be a major problem short term.
